This poped up in my email this morning:
Servicemembers Legal Defense Network is excited to launch a first-of-its-kind contest that allows you and other supporters of equality to get involved by sharing your creativity, talents, and ideas!
From now until February 13, SLDN supporters will have the opportunity to design our Twentieth Anniversary shirt that will be used at events throughout the country over the next year and available for sale on the SLDN web site. Entries will be accepted exclusively through SLDN’s Facebook page, and finalists will be chosen by the team at SLDN to be entered for public voting. The winning entry will be announced and unveiled at SLDN’s Twentieth Annual National Dinner on March 3 in Washington, D.C., when we will launch a year-long celebration of SLDN’s Twentieth Anniversary.
SLDN was one of the organizations that was instrumental in helping to bring about the repeal of Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell as well as providing legal assistance to gay and lesbian service members.
