African-Americans in SUPPORT of Marriage Equality: Mo’Nique

While anti-equality forces like to make hay out of the support they get from African-Americans and Latinos–which I think is just another way to exploit them–we all know that monolithic thinking isn’t the way any group, minority or majority thinks. And Baltimore-born, Oscar-winning actress Mo’Nique proves this for us yet again. From The Washington Blade:

[Mo’Nique] is continuing her advocacy for marriage equality in Maryland. On Aug. 9, she sent a fundraising email on behalf of the Human Rights Campaign, urging recipients to support the fight for marriage equality in the Free State. She previously recorded a video for HRC’s Americans for Marriage Equality campaign. Mo’Nique also delivered a similar message for the Marylanders for Marriage Equality campaign. In her email, Mo’Nique criticizes the tactics that the opposition has used in seeking to undo the law:
