From WZZM comes this story about activism through small marching steps:
GRAND RAPIDS (WZZM) — Grand Rapids had its first Gay Pride Parade on Sunday. It drew hundreds of people to downtown Grand Rapids.
While there is already an annual festival, many in the crowd say they wanted to hold the parade to show people they are a member of the community.
Those marching said West Michigan hasn’t always been so accepting of their differences and they want to help change the conservative mindset.
