When we first achieved 13 states with Marriage Equality, I thought it would have been a cool idea if an artist made a portrait of Betsy Ross or a Betsy Ross drag queen sewing on Pride Glory with the rainbow flag and thirteen stars on the field of blue. It looks like the folks over at Freedom to Marry have taken a somewhat similar approach with the flag below.
MakeitEqual.org is using the Flag of Marriage Equality as a visual representation of the states that have achieved marriage equality. The stars are arranged in order in which the states came into the Union; from upper left to lower right.
