Today In LGBT History: A Memoir of the Early Days of the AIDS Crisis

Though a very engaging book trailer for Body Counts: A Memoir of Politics, Sex, AIDS and Survival, author Sean Strub gives us a glimpse into a history that needs to be remembered.

The first few minutes of the video are the most powerful. It shows us how vilely opposed to us people were. Something that we tend to forget isn’t a recent development due to our gains for equality. It’s a history that is important for us to remember and explore. I am glad that Mr. Strub has chronicled this time in his writings and look forward to reading it.
