Miranda Lambert’s single ‘Automatic’ is tune that yearns for the days when everything didn’t come to us so automatically: pay phones, pocket watches and cassette players to tape songs off the radio ‘cuz you “couldn’t buy it yet.” It’s a tune that you can watch the video on YouTube with handy-dandy link that allows you to pre-order Miranda’s album Platinum on iTunes. The inconsistency of the message of the song and how it’s being marketed makes me laugh. The below screen grab says it best; note the highlighted area.
