A Tale of Two Cities: Houston v. Pittsburg, TX on Discrimination

For those who think that ordinances like the one passed in Houston that protects Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender persons aren’t really needed or afford special rights, comes this story out of another Texas town via Joe. My. God.:

The above linked AP story states that the Houston ordinance will be “offering protections at the local level against all forms of discrimination in housing, employment and services provided by private businesses such as hotels and restaurants.”
