With stories coming about eateries and their homophobia toward gay customers in places like Texas and Mississippi, here’s a positive story from The Huffington Post to remind ya that there is still good in the world and that we are on the right side of history.
Christopher Graham and Andrew Cappelle went out to eat after getting married due to the ruling that struck down Wisconsin’s ban barring gay couples from marrying. When their check came, they got a wee-bitty wedding gift from the management:
“After we stayed at the courthouse, we went out for dinner to Transfer Pizzeria & Cafe. We talked with our server about what had just happened down at the courthouse — we got married and witnessed to several other marriages — and to help us celebrate, the staff at Transfer bought our dinner!”
